Black Eyes

I definitely intend to write about bands that I feel have been overlooked or forgotten on this blog. I can't think of a much better jumping-off point than this band. Bass-driven, frantic, noisy, dancy, and daresay "arty" post-punk from Washington, D.C, featuring two drummers. Not a drummer and a percussionist. Two legit drummers with full kits. They were active been 2001 and 2004, touring most notably with Q and Not U, and released two LPs on Dischord. They branched out into more experimental territory on their second record, "Cough", but I can't recommend the self-titled record any more enthusiastically. I can't offer many bands that I could reasonably compare them to, so you'll just have to listen for yourself. Links in the comments.
